Jo Darvall has won the Collie Art Prize 2023 (CAP2023)

Fox Galleries is delighted to share the news that Jo Darvall has won the Collie Art Prize 2023 (CAP2023) with her painting ‘Boranup Forest Light’.

Jo states that ‘Boranup Forest Light’ and another work, ‘Regeneration’, also in the finals, reflect on her explicit connection to this unique Western Australian forest and the forthcoming stories she is empowered to reveal.

CAP2023 is one of regional Australia’s richest individual art prizes, and forms part of the coal mining town’s push to diversify its economy into tourism and other industries.
