Michael is a certified accountant, fine art valuer and art collector. He holds a Master of Tax from the Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne and is a member of the Auctioneers and Valuers Association of Australia (AVAA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants.
In 2009 he established Michael Fox Arts Accountant & Valuer when he relocated to Melbourne to provide accountancy and art market advisory services to select clients. In 2010 Michael was the campaign manager for the successful Save Super Art campaign that prevented the proposed ban on artwork investment by super funds.
In 2020 he relocated his Melbourne practice and the gallery exhibition spaces to 63-67 Wellington Street, Collingwood in 2020, thus realising his vision of unifying a professional practice with an art gallery under the same roof.
Daragh is a fine art valuer and auctioneer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Classical Civilisation and History of Art from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.
Before relocating to Australia, Daragh worked in the fine art department of the premier auction house in Ireland, Adam’s.
In 2023 he worked at Leonard Joel providing valuations for clients, assisting with auction consignments, auctioneering and operating telephone bidding.
Late last year Daragh joined the operations of Fox Galleries and Michael Fox Arts Accountant & Valuer as their Client Manager and now heads their valuations division.
